MY LANDLORD & MY LANDLADY

I and Silvia are staying at the Choudhurys’s, Melbury Gardens, South Wimbledon.

Our landlady’s name is Akba, aged 38. She’s tall, of medium build and with a dark complexion. She’s got dark black eyes, but we don’t know her hair colour because she is Muslim, so she wears veil. Her origins are of Bangladesh, but she is British. She’s very kind and friendly, very sweet. She likes talking, too because she is very open to people. She has got two 2 sisters and 4 brothers. She’s married to Shahid, 50, an own business man (he’s got a restaurant).

They’ve got 2 daughters: Tasmin, 15 and Zahraa, 9. The older one is very busy with school because of GCSI exam. Zahraa is very friendly and pleasant.

Akba is a very patient person: she looks after 2 babies Dax and Liam. Dax is 2 years old and he’s rather shy. Liam is 1 year old and he can only say: “train!” or “oh no!!”. He’s so sweet!!

We are very happy with the family because the place is very comfortable and the people generous. It’s a really good experience!!
